LIGNA celebrates its 50th anniversary - as does the world's first isobaric double belt press.

HELD developed the world's first isobaric double belt press and celebrated its premiere at LIGNA in 1975. Prior to its market launch, HELD had developed a new process for the continuous production of materials. This was triggered by an inquiry from a customer who was looking for edge banding from the roll for table tops. The aim was to minimize waste in this way. Now, 50 years later, HELD is presenting another historic milestone in the company's history at LIGNA: HAILEY. It is the first machine of the new HELD double belt press generation and recently won the Red Dot Design Award!

So even in the year following HELD's 75th anniversary, there are plenty of reasons to celebrate - and to look back with pride on HELD's ongoing innovations.

Hailey not only impresses with its powerful technology, but also with its sophisticated, functional industrial design, which meets the highest standards of efficiency, ergonomics, safety and usability. The award shows that HELD combines the high industrial performance of double belt presses with a clear, forward-looking design language.

Hailey is a statement of the HELD DNA: Innovation made for real!
