LIGNA 2025 was a resounding success. From May 26 to 30, visitors were able to visit us at booth F75 in hall 26. Visitors were particularly excited about the presentation of the new generation of machines. Future models in this series can be individually adapted to specific production requirements. With a pressing pressure of up to 80 bar and a production speed of up to 50 meters per minute, it is ideal for the production of CPL (Continuous Pressure Laminate) and HPL (High Pressure Laminate).
DecoDays at HELD - live production with material from DLS Elesgo, Hans Schmid KG, Sappi and Ahlstrom
In May and June, HELD hosted “DecoDays” at the company's own technology park. Participants experienced the live production of decorative laminates on a 1.5-meter-wide double belt press using high-quality materials from renowned raw material suppliers such as DTS Elesgo, Hans Schmid KG, Sappi, and Ahlstrom. DecoDays also offered the perfect opportunity to get to know the new machine generation. Guests were able to discover the advantages of the production with a HELD double belt press. When the machine is launched in 2025, customers will also benefit from exclusive conditions, both for purchase and for equipment rental.
Why the isobaric pressing process is popular in laminate production
The continuous process of the double belt press enables the economical production of large quantities at the highest quality - a decisive advantage in the laminate industry. Compared to static presses or calender presses, constant temperature and pressure conditions in the isobaric double belt press ensure a tension-free, homogeneous material structure with the option of format-free production. Thanks to precise production parameters, production is not only more efficient, but also more sustainable, as waste is reduced to a minimum.
